PSSI recruiters come from backgrounds and/or experience in IT. They have established networks, organizational affiliations and technology experience to connect to the sources that will yield qualified and available candidates.

To find the right candidate(s) to submit for your job requisition, PSSI leverages its recruiters’ experience together with a myriad of resources, some of which include:

Being familiar with client positions and job requisitions, PSSI Recruiters proactively locate, screen and build a “backlog” of potential candidates in order to:

 Respond quickly to client needs;

 Have available candidates from a variety of industries with varying domain experience, professional skills and tool experience; and,

 Remain competitive as a quality vendor.

It is as important to PSSI as it is to the client that we find the “right” candidate for each client job requisition. To that end, every candidate is screened to ensure their viability for placement on a client site. Screening includes:

 Verification of resume details;

 Confirming the candidate has a proven track record of success (through references);

 Determining the candidate’s industry/domain experience;

 Discussing professional skills and tool experience with the candidate and asking the right questions to establish depth / length of expertise with each;

 Getting a feel for a candidate’s soft skills to determine if they will fit into a team environment, if they enjoy collaboration, if they have a passion for what they do, how they define quality, how they deal with conflict, etc.;

 Intuitively weighing the candidate’s personality against the client culture to ensure that the potential candidate will be able to adapt to, perform in, and contribute to the client
environment;

 Verification of Citizenship Status;

 Verification of Certifications;

 Validation of Education;

 Background Check;

 Drug Screening; and,

 Other, as indicated by client (e.g., security clearance, etc.).

Knowing that change is a part of life and business, PSSI proactively keeps a pulse on:

 Industry trends;

 Changes in client trends, lines of business, job requisitions;

 Candidates’ on-site performance with client (to proactively team with client to prevent/resolve issues); and,

 Competitive trends (to ensure we maintain our viability as a quality vendor for the client).
